Mould to make Edible Spoons:
An Entrepreneurship Project, within the framework of a design workshop.
The general objective was to design a product, make a small-scale production and commercialize it in the public annual design event, at the “L’Oréal Room” located at the university’s business school, “HEC Montréal”.
The concept developed consists in a mould for sweet edible spoons, made in Barley Candy that melts in the mouth at each mouthful. The utensil can be used as a stirrer for sweetening drinks, or eaten like a lollypop.
The barley recipe can be prepared by adding different flavors and colors, and allows customized patterns too. So imagine the possibilities of this new gastronomic experience!
The mould is dishwasher safe and can resist high temperatures. It is made in thermoformed PET. The packaging is in acetate sheet and paperboard. Dimensions: 19 cm x 28 cm.
